We Earn Commissions

HotelPair is a free service. We earn money when you book a hotel through our links. This commission is paid by the booking platform. You pay the same price whether you use our links or go directly to the booking site.

How Affiliate Links Work

When you click on a hotel link or "Check Availability" button on HotelPair, you're redirected to a booking partner's website (like Booking.com). A small tracking code in the link tells the partner that you came from our website.

If you complete a booking, the partner pays us a commission, typically a small percentage of the booking value. This is a standard practice across the travel industry and is how most hotel comparison sites operate.

The price you see and pay is exactly the same as if you had gone to the booking site directly. Affiliate commissions don't add any cost to your booking.

Our Affiliate Partners

We work with the following booking platforms. Each has their own terms, conditions, and cancellation policies.

Booking.com

One of the world's largest online travel agencies

Hotels.com

Rewards program with free nights

Expedia

Bundled deals on flights and hotels

Agoda

Strong coverage in Asia-Pacific

Our Recommendations Are Independent

Affiliate relationships do not influence our recommendations. We display hotels based on relevance, price, ratings, and user reviews, not based on which booking partner pays us the highest commission.

We show prices from multiple booking platforms so you can compare and choose the best deal. Our goal is to help you find the right hotel at the best price, regardless of which partner you book through.

Why We're Telling You This

We believe in transparency. Australian consumer protection guidelines and international standards (like the US FTC guidelines) require websites to disclose affiliate relationships.

More importantly, we think you deserve to know how we make money. Trust is essential, and we'd rather be upfront than hide behind fine print.
